Some of you might know I signed up with Team in Training this year to run the Savannah Rock N Roll Marathon. It's not just a lot of fun with a lot of great people, it's raising money for a really great cause. I would appreciate it beyond words if you would take a look and if you feel like it's a great cause as well to donate.

I am 175 centimeters tall.
This makes me taller than 37.5% of men and 93% of women.

I miss Stargate Atlantis. I think I need to see if it's on Netflix.

Spent the weekend shopping and rearranging the house lol. Spent too much money but Liam's birthday was taken care of and Universal tickets for next month. THEN it will be time to buy Christmas stuff. UGH. At least he knows he got the expensive thing for his birthday (x-box) so if I get a bunch of little stuff that doesn't cost much but is fun to play with we're all cool.

Blaming this one on a coworker who sent it as the song of the day:

Yeah I know I stopped posting these...well or anything really...but here's the one that is eating my brain right now.

Symphony of Science

I miss Cosmos and all the scientists that had that pointed out the spiritual connection we had to the universe.

two hours of shaking your hips makes for very not happy muscles the next day! Had my dance lesson last night and got a minute of choreography done. Of course anyone else reading my notes on what we're doing would just look at me and wonder if I need to be committed.

It reads things like:
Squash the bug 4X left foot
Whore's heart, 4x beat then throw it

Notes no one else can understand are FUN!

And on the yay side lost more weight I am at 195 now which is below what the age and height appropriate charts for our insurance considered a healthy weight! And almost there for my DragonCon 190 or bust goal!

So this year at Dragon*Con they are having a new fan track called Kaeleidoscope. It will be all about the kids stuff and shows including things from Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney etc. It's the ground floor start up year which is cool to get in on even if it will probably mean a lot of work BUT the nice thing about it since it is geared for mainly 9-14 year olds and the parents who don't like to admit they watch the shows too *cough* it's all daytime stuff which still leaves my nights free to have fun!

I will be moderating panels, be in panels, and lord knows what else lol. I know I will be moderating the Spongebob, Patrick the Star and iCarly panels. I will be in a panel for boys shows...which I had to tell them although I do have an 8 year old boy he sort of fails at watching boy shows and prefers things like iCarly, Victorious and things like that. He was actually singing along and dancing to the Victorious song the other day and shaking his finger in the 'no-no' gesture while he danced. Not laughing was almost impossible but somehow I managed.

I downloaded the 'Sam's Remote' app for my iPad and iTouch for the iCarly panel. I will also be in charge of coming up with ideas for the graffiti wall because I have artistic talent.

I kind of have a lot of 'eek' moments thinking about it but I also get a free con membership for the year and don't have to go into the waiting line to pick one up so that's a huuuuuuuge yay!

I shouldn't be allowed to read lyrics to Christian music. They make me think of anything BUT what I'm supposed to in certain cases:

Meeting first thing this morning at work that lasted almost until it was time to go to Liam's school to do his class lunch. Had to deal with butthead moms who were trying to use our class' assigned table and got all snotty about it because it would be too difficult for them to file past and get their catered Mexican feast where we just had homemade stuff so it would be easier for us to move. (you have to imagine their voices dripping with 'ew how provincial' and the little nose wrinkle that went with it...LOVE some private school parents!)

Then cleaning up, packing stuff and running back to work just in time to miss the huge downpour! Yay for good timing for part of the day at least!

I have decided I really hate having low blood pressure. It's got to the point anymore where I dehydrate really easily (I'm taking potassium and magnesium along with extra electrolytes to try to solve some of this!)and as soon as it starts getting warm I try to pass out every time I stand up. And if it's warm and I stand in one place too long. And if I stand in the hot shower too long.

I mean really? Is that necessary?

On the good side still playing tennis, trying to get up to a 5K but at this rate that will be three years from now lol. I was doing better with the running then it got hot and sticky and it immediately made me feel like I was the girl with no energy while running! I refuse to give up though! And now I am adding in walking with Krista on the off days to get that much more exercise in along with my dance class. I'm down to the lowest weight I've been in probably 15 years and hope to keep going. The body whines about the fact I've made it switch over to smaller meals more often and cut out a lot of things I used to get. I only had a very limited amount of cadbury eggs this year for example, the universe might implode!

I'd like to add in swimming to the regime but it's really hard to find lap time that isn't at 5 in the morning lol.
