To help you out a bit: This is the part when you enter what you want, not what you're going to write. Because what happens is the person who is running the ficathon sends what you want to another person to write, randomly.

So what you reply with here is your request with what you want to receive from another person, not what you're willing to write (which is actually provided for in #5, to be nice. So that's where you would say, no non-con, rape, Inara).

ficbitch82 mentioned the ficathon and I decided to throw my hat in the ring. Been a while since I wrote FF, so it'll be nice to revisit the fandom. :)

1. Setting: Don't really care.
2. Acceptable rating range: G - NC17... all is good.
3. Character requests: Simon is my boy. I'd love to read some good Simon fic. And if it's Simon/Mal or Simon/Jayne, that's even better!
4. Additional requests: You get bonus points if you toss in some good River-ness. Not CSI, though. I'm not a big fan of that. :)
5. Me: I'm not much into femslash. I'd prefer to write M/M or het if pairing fic is requested. And I usually do more angst and character pieces than I do heavy action/plotty stuff. But, again, I really will try my hand at most anything, so don't worry too much about it.

Sweet. I haven't actually written any Firefly yet, but I'll give it a shot.

1. Setting: Planetside
2. Acceptable rating range: PG-13 - NC-17
3. Character requests: Jayne, Jayne, and after that, maybe a little more Jayne.
4. Any additional requests: Horses, please. They're right there in the opening credits but they hardly ever used them on the show. I'd like to see some horses. And uh... I like 'em dark and angsty.
5. Anything you don't want to write: I'll try anything.

Hey, and yay for this! I've been wanting to get started with Firefly fic, but haven't had the time to flesh out ideas that I've got. A ficathon is exactly what I need to get a jump on this, so thanks!

1. Setting.(on serenity, planetside, don't care etc) Don't Care

5. Anything you don't want to write (eg. extreme violence, etc) I'm extremely shaky with writing The Sex. If there's a non-sex request, feel free to toss me at it. If not, that's fine. I can gather the courage and do it.

3. Character requests: Simon! Please :) With a side dose of Jayne. Can be slashy or not, whatever you're comfortable with.
4. Any additional requests: If you can get Book and River in there, that would be lovely. Apart from that... angst, violence, comedy, whatever!
5. Anything you don't want to write: Sex. I'm shockingly awful at writing it. Also, please, no Mal/Jayne or het, unless it's Wash/Zoe. I am happy to write (non-explicit) crazy space incest, though. Go figure.

1. Setting.

Not picky. Anywhere. :-)

2. Acceptable rating range.

G to R is OK. I prefer sex, language, and violence to be plot driven, not just for the heck of it. Definitely nothing non-con or CSI, thanks! Actually, I would prefer no non-platonic pairings with River at all.

3. Character requests.

I love Kaylee. I love Simon. I love Kaylee/Simon. Jayne/Kaylee would also be interesting, or Jayne/Kaylee/Simon (a love triangle, not a three way :-). I love Wash/Zoe. Book is a fascinating guy. I love River, as long as she is River. Heck, I love all of these characters!

4. any additonal requests.

I like stories that are happy. Angst is OK, but at least I need a little hope at the end. I like relationshippy stuff. I would prefer a het fic or a gen fic.

5. Anything you don't want to write.

I don't write slash, and I prefer not to write above an R rating. Also, I have discovered that I write a really awful Inara, so I wouldn't want to write anything with her as the main character because I would feel awful for the person who got it!
